Therapy That Aligns Your Womb, Heart & Mind

Invisible Womb Integrated Wellness reconnects your body and mind to release and transform emotional, traumatic, and transgenerational stories that impact menstrual distress, womb diagnoses (such as, but not limited to, endometriosis, PCOS, infertility, fibroids, cysts, and cancers of the womb), womb trauma and transitions, which we like to refer to as rites of passages, from pre menses to postmenopause. We help you listen to all emotions, understand their origin, learn how they show up in your body, and provide the tools to care deeply for yourself through this process. You become a womb to yourself by learning how to listen, feel, nurture, and nourish yourself well.

THE ORIGINS OF INVISIBLE WOMB

Desiring to exhale my mourning due to my medically diagnosed inability to naturally bear children, I created, danced, and shared with the community my healing process entitled Invisible Womb. At the time of my diagnosis, May 14, 2008, I was working on my master's degree in Holistic Counseling with an emphasis in Somatic Psychology. Amid my schooling and after years of trying to get pregnant partnered with frequent unidentifiable lower abdominal pain, I underwent an outpatient laparoscopic surgical procedure. As a result of that surgery, I learned that I suffered from severe endometriosis, which was the cause of the secondary diagnosis, which for me was primary infertility. Through much grieving and many questions pondered, in March 2009, Invisible Womb was born.

UNDOING THE BODY MIND SEPARATION WE INHERITED

There's a tendency to separate the womb from the mind and heart, as it is, unfortunately, the norm to separate the body from the mind. Pain reveals a rollercoaster of emotions that often begin before menses and, when not processed, deepens and continues to manifest well beyond menopause physically. Many women have, in silence, struggled with varying womb health challenges.

Some of the only times wombed persons pay attention to their womb are:

  • The menstrual phase of the cycle

  • When experiencing discomfort, excessive or absent bleeding

  • When going for the annual pelvic examination

  • When desiring to have a child

  • Pregnancy

  • Actively preventing or terminating pregnancy

WOMB WISDOM

The stories surrounding our womb are numerous, yet the narrative developing within our womb often gets overlooked. Our womb holds our story. My desire with Invisible Womb Integrative Wellness Inc. is to invite a more profound listening to, acknowledging, and transforming of the stories that have taken root within this root part of our body. I desire that wombed persons no longer isolate the womb from the mind and heart but acknowledge that how we experience life within our psyche directly affects the health of our womb, and the health of our womb directly affects the health of our mind and our entire being. There is no separation.
